The Incline Push Up on box is a great move for targeting your chest using just your body weight, but staying mindful of your posture makes all the difference. One frequent mistake is letting your hips sag or arching your lower back, which breaks your body alignment and steals power from the push. Another common issue is flaring your elbows too far out, placing unwanted stress on the joints. By focusing on maintaining a rigid straight line from your head to your feet and controlling the descent, you ensure your chest does all the heavy lifting safely and effectively.
1. Position yourself in front of a bench or elevated platform and place your hands on the edge slightly wider than shoulder-width. 2. Place your feet back, keeping your body and arms straight. 3. Lower your chest towards the edge of the bench by bending your elbows. 4. Push your body upward until your arms are fully extended.

- Keep your body straight from head to heels throughout the movement. - Lower your chest until it lightly touches the edge of the bench. - Push with your chest and triceps to return to the starting position.
