The shoulder tap push-up is an amazingly versatile movement for your workout routine, making it perfect as a dynamic warm-up element or as a final burnout exercise. Using your own body weight, this variation distributes tension across your chest, shoulders, and triceps, while constantly challenging your core stability during the single-hand balance tap. If you place it at the beginning of your session, it primes your joints and fires up your midsection; if you save it for the finish, it delivers an intense pump that burns out remaining muscle fibers.
1. Position yourself in a push-up position with your body straight. 2. Lower your body by bending your elbows until your shoulders are aligned with them. 3. Extend your elbows to return to the starting position. 4. Touch your right shoulder with your left hand and vice versa alternately.

- Keep your body in a high plank position during the shoulder taps. - Touch your shoulder controllably, without swaying your hips. - Perform the tap only when stable in the push-up position.
