If you want to give your chest a more intense stimulus using only your own bodyweight, the decline push up is a fantastic variation to add to your routine. By elevating your feet on a bench or platform, you shift the angle compared to a standard push up, placing much greater demand on the upper portion of your pectoral muscles. This movement works amazingly well as a secondary exercise in your main strength block or even as a high-volume finisher at the very end of your workout to fully fatigue your chest. Keep the tension constant on every rep and embrace the burn.
1. Position yourself in a push-up position with feet elevated on a bench. 2. Lower your chest towards the floor by bending your elbows as you inhale. 3. Push your body upward until your arms are extended as you exhale. 4. Hold the pectoral contraction briefly at the top position.

- Keep your body straight from head to heels. - Lower your chest towards the floor, keeping your elbows close to your body. - Push with your chest and triceps, contracting the pectoral at the top.
