When you use the leg press machine for the Sled 45° Calf Press, it is very easy to make mistakes that ruin your calves workout. The most common error is bouncing at the bottom or completely locking your knees at the top, which places unnecessary stress on your joints. Instead, place the balls of your feet on the machine platform, keep a very slight bend in your legs, and focus on a slow, controlled range of motion. Push firmly through your toes to fully contract your calves and lower down slowly to stretch the muscles completely without losing control.
1. Lie on the leg press machine with your back supported and legs extended, feet shoulder-width apart and heels off the platform. 2. Exhale and push the platform with your toes, contracting your calves maximally, without locking your knees. 3. Hold the contraction for a moment in the top position, feeling the tension in your calves. 4. Inhale and lower slowly until your calves are fully stretched, repeating the movement.

- Place your heels off the platform for a full range. - Push with your toes, contracting your calves maximally. - Lower in a controlled manner, feeling the stretch in your calves.
