The lever parallel chest press is a highly versatile exercise that easily fits into almost any part of your upper body routine. Because it leverages a guided machine and leverage machine setup, it serves as an excellent warm-up to activate your chest muscles before moving into heavier lifts. Alternatively, you can place it mid-workout for dedicated strength work, or use it as a finisher at the end of your session to burn out remaining energy safely without worrying about losing balance. Its neutral grip keeps your joints comfortable, making it a reliable addition regardless of where you plug it in.
1. Sit in a chest press machine with parallel handles. 2. Grip the handles with palms facing down and elbows elevated. 3. Push the handles forward, extending your arms as you exhale. 4. Return controllably to the starting position as you inhale.

- Keep your wrists in a neutral position during the press. - Push the handles in a parallel motion, contracting the pectoral. - Control the return, feeling the stretch in your chest.
