1. Lie on your back on the floor with your back slightly arched and hold the dumbbells on each side of your chest with palms facing forward and elbows at 90°. 2. Inhale, inflating your chest, and as you exhale, push the dumbbells upward using mainly the pectoral. 3. In the top position, hold for one second, compressing your chest, without overextending your elbows or bringing the dumbbells together. 4. Lower the dumbbells slowly and controllably as you inhale, taking longer on the descent than on the ascent.
