Performing Lever Leg Extension on a Machine or Lever machine provides direct isolation for your Quadriceps. To achieve continuous growth without risking injury, you must follow a methodical progression strategy. Begin with a manageable resistance where you can pause briefly at the peak contraction with straight legs. Gradually increase the weight pin by pin as your strength improves, always making sure your back stays planted firmly against the seat pad. Avoid momentum or sudden jerking movements to lift the weight; if you catch yourself swinging, drop the load slightly. Consistent mechanical tension and slow eccentric control are what really drive quad strength and definition over time.
1. Sit on the leg extension machine with your back supported. 2. Place your feet under the lower levers with your knees slightly bent. 3. Extend your knees, elevating the lever until your legs are straight. 4. Bend your knees in a controlled manner to the starting position and repeat.

- Adjust the backrest so that your knees are aligned with the machine's axis. - Fully extend your legs at the top, without locking your knees. - Control the descent to work the eccentric phase.
