Training with the lever overhand triceps dip gives you a solid foundation of pushing power and joint stability. By utilizing a lever machine, you can heavily target your triceps and chest with controlled movement patterns that protect your shoulders from excessive strain. This extension strength translates directly into athletic applications, helping you build forceful pushing power for sports and improving shoulder stability during pressing tasks. Keep your back pressed against the support pad, push the lever down smoothly through full arm extension, and control the descent to maximize muscle tension while building durable joints and functional upper-body mechanics.
1. Sit on the machine with your back supported against the backrest and take the handles with your elbows bent backward. 2. Push the lever downward until you fully extend your arms, contracting your triceps. 3. Feel the slight stretch in your shoulders at the end of the movement, without forcing the joint. 4. Bend your elbows to return to the starting position and repeat.

- Keep your shoulders relaxed and away from your ears. - Fully extend your elbows at the end of the movement. - Control the return phase to avoid dropping the weight.
