1. Attach a straight bar to a high pulley, sit on the machine, and grasp the bar with an underhand grip (palms facing you) at shoulder width. 2. Lean back slightly, keep your chest up, and pull the bar down towards your upper chest by driving your elbows down and back. 3. Pause at the bottom, squeezing your biceps and lats together. 4. Slowly and in a controlled manner, allow the bar to return to the starting position overhead.




- Lean back slightly to create a better angle for engaging your lats and biceps. - Keep your chest up and pulled towards the bar throughout the movement. - Drive your elbows down and back to initiate the pull, not your hands. - Squeeze your shoulder blades together at the bottom to maximize lat contraction.
