When you are structuring your back routine, finding the ideal slot for the lever unilateral row is key to maximizing your gains. This movement fits seamlessly right after your heavy compound lifts as a main strength-builder or towards the end of your session as a finisher. Working with a leverage machine or machine allows you to isolate each side of your back independently, fixing strength imbalances while maintaining total stability. By driving the movement unilateral arm by arm, you generate intense muscular tension throughout your entire back. It works exceptionally well when your body is fully warmed up and ready to focus on target isolation.
1. Kneel in a machine with the opposite knee to the handle supported on the padding. 2. Grip the handle with the opposite hand and lean slightly with your back straight. 3. Lift the handle to the side, contracting your back. 4. Lower the handle controllably to the starting position.

- Keep your back straight and core stable during the row. - Pull the handle by contracting your lat, not using momentum. - Control the return to the starting position, feeling the stretch.
