1. Sit on a preacher curl bench, resting your right arm on the pad with your armpit firmly pressed against the top, and grip a dumbbell with your palm facing up. 2. Curl the dumbbell up by flexing your bicep, keeping your torso slightly turned to emphasize the peak. 3. Pause at the top of the curl, squeezing your bicep for a hard contraction. 4. Slowly lower the dumbbell back to the starting extended position.




- Keep your armpit pressed firmly against the pad to isolate the biceps. - Turn your torso slightly to get a better peak contraction in the biceps. - Squeeze the dumbbell hard at the top of the curl. - Lower the weight slowly and with control to maximize the eccentric phase.
