Structuring your lower-body workout effectively makes all the difference, and the Lever Seated Calf Raise plate loaded fits seamlessly as a dedicated finisher. Utilizing a lever machine or selectorized machine allows you to target your calves directly without draining your overall energy or burdening your spine. Placing this exercise toward the end of your strength session lets you push your lower legs to absolute fatigue after your compound lifts are done. Alternatively, you can use it in an accessory block to hone ankle extension and build muscle local endurance in a completely stable, seated position.
1. Sit in the machine and place your feet apart with your heels extended. 2. Place the lever over your lower thighs and grip it with both hands. 3. Elevate your heels by extending your ankles as you exhale. 4. Lower your heels controllably to the starting position as you inhale.

- Keep the balls of your feet on the edge of the platform for maximum range. - Elevate your heels explosively, contracting your calves. - Lower controllably, allowing your heels to go below the level of your toes.
