If you feel your lower leg development has hit a plateau, incorporating the Smith one leg floor calf raise will give you that extra boost to make a real difference. By isolating each leg individually, you will fix strength imbalances between sides without relying on your dominant leg. The stability provided by the machine allows you to work with complete control through the full range of motion, achieving a deep stretch and an intense contraction in your calves. Over time, you will notice stronger, more defined calves, enhancing both your overall physique and your stability in heavy compound movements.
1. Place the bar on a Smith machine at the height of your shoulders. 2. Stand on a step with one foot in the center and the other hooked around. 3. Let your heel drop as much as possible and grip the bar over your back. 4. Elevate your heel, contracting your calf, and lower in a controlled manner.

- If necessary, grip the bar with your hands to maintain balance. - Perform a pause at the top of the movement to maximize contraction. - Lower your heel as much as possible for a deep calf stretch.
