As you lie on your side to perform the quadriceps lying stretch, you immediately feel the built-up tension in your legs begin to release under your complete control. Holding your ankle and gently bringing your heel toward your glutes creates a comfortable, straight alignment that isolates your quadriceps without putting unnecessary stress on your lower back. By using only your bodyweight and the precise pressure of your hand, you control every single inch of the elongation process. You can feel your breathing guide the relaxing muscle fibers, giving you a deep sense of flexibility that feels both calm and completely controlled. It is an ideal movement for reconnecting with your body after a heavy session, helping you master your mobility in a safe, smooth, and highly effective way.
1. Lie on your side on a mat, supporting your head with your left arm for comfort. 2. Bend your right knee and grab your right ankle with your right hand, pulling your heel towards your glutes. 3. Pause at the peak of the stretch, feeling a deep stretch in your right quadriceps. 4. Release your ankle and extend your leg back to the starting position, then repeat on the other side.

- Keep your hips square to the floor to isolate the quadriceps. - Gently pull your heel towards your glutes until you feel a comfortable stretch. - Do not force the stretch; go only as far as feels safe. - Keep your knees together to increase the stretch.
