Bodyweight Standing Romanian Deadlift
Muscles involved
How to do it
1. Stand tall with feet hip-width apart, a slight bend in your knees, and your hands placed on your hips. 2. Hinging at your hips, push your glutes backward as you slowly lower your torso forward, keeping a flat back, until you feel a deep stretch in your hamstrings. 3. Pause at the bottom of the hinge, maintaining the natural arch in your lower back and feeling the hamstring stretch. 4. Squeeze your glutes and push your hips forward to slowly return to the upright starting position.

Tips
- Initiate the movement by pushing your hips back, not by bending your knees or rounding your back. - Feel the stretch in your hamstrings; if you lose the stretch, you've gone too far down. - Keep a slight, soft bend in your knees that remains constant throughout the movement. - Squeeze your glutes at the top of the movement to finish the rep and protect your lower back.
