Nailing a heavy set of the barbell reverse grip bent over row brings a supreme feeling of satisfaction during your back workouts. Hinging forward with a strong, neutral spine while holding the barbell with a supinated grip allows you to pull deep into your lower torso. You know your technique is locked in when you squeeze your elbows close to your body and feel your whole back contract with absolute control at the top of the pull. There is no need for momentum or jerky movements here; feeling that deep muscular contraction followed by a smooth, controlled lowering phase gives you total confidence in your form while giving your back a complete, highly effective workout.
1. Stand with feet apart, holding a bar with a supinated grip. 2. Lean forward, keeping your back straight, almost parallel to the floor. 3. Pull the bar towards your torso, keeping your elbows close to your body as you exhale. 4. Lower the bar controllably to the starting position as you inhale.

- Keep your torso parallel to the floor throughout the row. - Pull the bar towards your abdomen, keeping your elbows close to your body. - The supinated grip allows for greater biceps activation during the movement.
