Adding the barbell stiff leg good morning to your lower body routine will completely transform the strength of your posterior chain. By placing a barbell across your upper back and hinging forward at the hips, you deliver a deep and powerful stretch directly to your glutes and hamstrings. The biggest benefit of incorporating this exercise is how effectively it fortifies your lower back and leg stability, which you will notice right away through improved posture and stronger performance in heavy lifts. Over time, you will feel your legs becoming much more resilient while developing dynamic flexibility along the back of your thighs. It is the ultimate movement if you want to build firm glutes and enhance your overall athletic power.
1. Place a bar on a rack at a comfortable height and position the back of your shoulders under it. 2. Grip the bar with both hands and lift it by pushing with your legs. 3. Bend your hips, bringing your torso forward until it is parallel to the floor. 4. Return to the starting position by extending your torso.

- Keep your legs with minimal flexion throughout the movement. - Lower your torso, keeping your back straight, not rounded. - Contract glutes and lower back to return to the starting position.
