Mastering the curtsey squat builds tremendous confidence in your lower body training by targeting your legs from a unique angle. Performing this movement with your own bodyweight forces your glutes and quadriceps to work in dynamic stabilization as you step diagonally behind yourself. You will know you are nailing a great set when you feel a deep, controlled burn in your hips and thighs without losing your balance or collapsing your chest forward. Drive firmly through your lead leg on every rep, maintaining total control over the movement to ensure maximum engagement in your legs and glutes throughout the entire set.
1. Stand with feet hip-width apart, keeping your torso upright. 2. Bring one leg back, crossing it diagonally as if curtsying. 3. Lower by bending both knees and hold for a moment at the bottom. 4. Return to the starting position and repeat, alternating legs.

- Cross your leg backward diagonally. - Keep your torso upright. - The front knee should not go past your toes.
