The Frog Crunch is a highly functional movement for building the midsection stability needed across various athletic activities. Relying solely on your bodyweight, it pairs trunk flexion with a unique hip positioning that directly targets your abdomen and obliques. The true athletic benefit comes from holding complete core control while expanding and contracting your limbs. By building stronger coordination between your hips and central torso, you develop a more stable, agile trunk that translates directly into better performance, balance, and injury prevention during everyday sports and physical dynamic movements.
1. Lie on your back with your hands behind your head and elbows open. 2. Keep your heels together and toes pointing forward. 3. Bring your knees towards your elbows while lifting your upper back and head off the floor. 4. Extend your legs away from the center while lowering your head towards the floor and repeat.

- Exhale as you bring your knees towards your elbows for a greater abdominal contraction. - Maintain a controlled movement, avoiding sudden jerks with your neck. - Ensure your lower back remains in contact with the floor during leg extension.
