The EZ barbell curl is an absolute classic when it comes to developing upper body pulling strength. By taking advantage of the angled grip on the EZ bar, you place your wrists in an ergonomic position that lets you target the biceps, brachialis, and forearms with high intensity while protecting your joints. Beyond building impressive arm aesthetics, activating these specific muscles is surprisingly important for your daily routine. The brachialis and forearms provide the raw grip and elbow flexion needed to carry heavy grocery bags, lift items around the house, or hold heavy objects comfortably. Training this exercise equips you with a rock-solid grip and practical arm power for any real-world physical task.
1. Stand with your back straight, holding an EZ bar with a supinated grip. 2. Keep the upper part of your arms still while lifting the bar, contracting your biceps. 3. Raise until the bar is at shoulder height. 4. Lower the bar controllably to the starting position.

- Keep your elbows tucked close to your sides throughout the curl. - Use the EZ bar grip for a more natural wrist position. - Control the descent, fully stretching the biceps.
