When you perform the EZ Barbell Reverse grip Preacher Curl, you build functional stability in areas often overlooked during standard arm workouts. Resting your arms on the bench completely isolates the upper body while targeting your forearms, biceps, and brachialis. By gripping the EZ bar with a pronated palm position, you directly enhance wrist strength and elbow resilience. This functional development gives you a massive advantage in athletic tasks that demand solid grip strength, from holding heavy barbells to tackling opponents or controlling movements in racquet sports. You will gain a solid foundation that keeps your joints stable under stress.
1. Grip an EZ bar with a pronated grip and place your arms extended on a preacher bench. 2. Lift the bar by contracting your biceps until they are fully contracted. 3. Hold the contraction for one second in the top position, at shoulder height. 4. Lower the bar in a controlled manner until you fully extend your arms and repeat.

- Keep your arms firmly supported on the preacher bench. - Control the descent to maximize the eccentric work. - Avoid arching your back during the movement.
