It is extremely common to see people make mistakes when targeting the rear deltoids by using too much weight, but the Cable Seated Rear Lateral Raise allows you to fix that completely. By utilizing the cable pulley machine, you maintain smooth, constant tension throughout the entire range of motion, eliminating momentum and preventing the frequent error of shrugging your traps or pulling with your lower back. Keeping your torso steady over your thighs with a slight bend in your elbows allows you to isolate your shoulders impeccably. If you pay close attention to avoiding jerky arm movements and focus on controlling the return, you will feel a pure, targeted burn that builds solid shoulder development.
1. Sit on the tip of a bench between two low pulleys with your torso over your thighs. 2. Cross your hands to grip each rope with the opposite hand. 3. Elevate your arms laterally to shoulder height, keeping your elbows slightly bent. 4. Lower in a controlled manner to the starting position and repeat the movement.

- Keep your torso over your thighs to isolate your rear deltoids. - Cross your hands for a better contraction of your upper back. - Elevate your arms to shoulder height, not higher.
