Few gym moments match the feeling of completing a solid set of barbell lateral lunge while remaining in complete control of your balance. When you carry the barbell across your upper back and step out to the side, trusting your technique allows you to sit your hips back with authority and drive off the floor with real power. You will feel your glutes and quadriceps working hard to absorb the lateral load and launch you back to the center with pinpoint stability. A flawless set leaves you with a distinct sense of structural firmness, smooth depth, and that clean muscular burn that confirms your execution was spot on.
1. Stand with one foot on a sliding disc and the other firm on the floor. 2. Slide your foot to the side while lowering your hips. 3. Lower until the bent leg forms 90 degrees. 4. Return to the starting position by sliding your foot towards the center.

- Keep the sliding foot in contact with the disc at all times. - Lower your hips to the side, keeping your torso upright. - Return to the center position by sliding your foot with control.
