When you want to master leg training with total confidence, the sled 45° leg wide press on the machine is an outstanding variation. By placing your feet wider than usual on the platform, you will feel a deep, powerful engagement in both your glutes and quadriceps. A truly effective set comes down to control: keep your back fully supported against the seat while lowering the platform smoothly. As you press the weight back up, focus on driving through your feet without locking out your knees at the top. This controlled range of motion gives you complete mastery over the movement, letting you push yourself safely while building solid strength and muscle in your legs.
1. Sit in the machine with your back fully supported and feet on the platform wider than shoulder-width apart. 2. Extend your legs, maintaining a slight bend in your knees. 3. Bend your knees and hips to lower the platform controllably as you inhale. 4. Push the platform back to the starting position as you exhale, without locking your knees.

- Place your feet in a comfortable position that does not cause discomfort in your knees or hips. - Never lock your knees in the fully extended position. - Push through your heels and the middle of your foot to activate glutes and quadriceps.
