1. Hold a dumbbell in one hand and raise it to shoulder height with your palm facing your chest, arm bent, back straight, core engaged, and feet shoulder-width apart. 2. Grip the dumbbell firmly and press upward until your arm is almost fully extended. 3. Pause briefly at the top and slowly lower the dumbbell back to the starting position. 4. Repeat the movement until you complete the recommended number of repetitions with that arm, then switch sides.








- Keep your ribs down to avoid arching your lower back while pressing. - Control the dumbbell's trajectory so it rises in a straight line without veering forward. - Engage your core and glutes to improve stability throughout the unilateral movement.
