Male
1. Stand with feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell vertically against your chest with both hands. 2. Lower your hips back and down by bending your knees, keeping your chest up, until your thighs are parallel to the floor. 3. Pause at the bottom of the squat. 4. Drive through your heels to return to the starting standing position.

- Use the dumbbell as a counterbalance, holding it close to your chest. - Keep your elbows inside your knees to help maintain an upright chest. - Lower your hips below your knees if mobility allows for a deeper squat. - Exhale and push through your heels to drive back up to the top.
