When performing the Narrow Squat from Deficit, gaining confidence in your technique comes down to feeling deep engagement throughout every rep. Standing on an elevated platform using just your bodyweight allows you to increase range of motion and test your balance. A great set feels smooth and demanding: as you lower yourself with feet close together, you will feel tension build straight into your quadriceps and glutes. Pause at the bottom to stay stable and drive up through your heels. Maintaining an upright torso throughout the set reassures you that your movement quality is completely on point.
1. Stand on an elevated surface with feet together and torso upright. 2. Descend into a squat, pushing your hips back while keeping your knees aligned. 3. Briefly pause at the lowest point to increase tension. 4. Push through your heels to return to the top, maintaining postural control.

- The deficit increases the range of motion, demanding greater flexibility and strength. - Keep your torso as upright as possible. - Control the descent and avoid bouncing at the bottom.
