The One Leg Squat is a powerful lower body exercise executed using only your body weight to challenge your balance. A very frequent mistake here is letting your supporting knee cave inward or rushing through the descent, which drains power from your movement. By paying close attention to keeping your foot planted and lowering yourself with control, you direct all the tension straight into your glutes and quads. Keeping your upper body upright and maintaining leg alignment protects your knee joint while maximizing strength gains. When you prioritize good form over quick repetitions, you turn this single-leg movement into a super effective tool for fixing muscle imbalances safely.
1. Stand with your hands on your waist and one leg completely straight. 2. Bend the other leg, bringing your foot backward to thigh height. 3. Bend the knee of the supporting leg to lower your body in a controlled manner. 4. Extend the supporting leg to return to the starting position and repeat.

- Keep your torso as upright as possible. - The supporting knee should not pass your toes. - Use a fixed reference point to maintain balance.
