The ¾ Sit up is a bodyweight core movement that targetedly strengthens your abdomen and oblique muscles by maintaining continuous tension throughout the set. By stopping short of a full sit-up, you keep your midsection under constant load, building exceptional trunk stability and endurance. This enhanced core control directly transfers to athletic performance, helping you stabilize your spine during heavy lifts, transfer power effectively between your lower and upper body, and maintain good posture during demanding physical tasks. Adding this exercise to your routine creates a solid, functional foundation that boosts your balance, body control, and athletic resilience in any sport or training program.
1. Lie on the floor with your hands behind your head and knees bent, keep your torso stable to avoid using your arms for momentum. 2. Contract your hips and spine to lift your torso towards your knees, maintaining a position perpendicular to the floor. 3. Inhale and slowly return to the starting position, covering only three-quarters of the way back. 4. Repeat the movement the established number of times.

- Exhale just as you lift to better activate your abdomen. - Keep your lower back pressed against the floor to avoid tension. - Lift controllably without using momentum.
