The cable front raise is a fantastic choice for building athletic strength and shoulder stability. By taking advantage of the cable machine, tension remains constant throughout the entire range of motion, forcing your shoulders to work hard on both the way up and the way down. This continuous load builds serious joint stability, which translates directly into better performance for throwing sports, martial arts, or overhead movements. Strengthening the front of your shoulders from this grounded position improves energy transfer between your core and upper body, leaving you with a much more resilient shoulder girdle ready for any physical demand.
1. Stand with your back to a low pulley with a short bar passing between your legs. 2. Grip the bar with your palms facing down and elbows slightly bent. 3. Elevate the bar forward to shoulder height, keeping your arms straight. 4. Lower in a controlled manner to the starting position and repeat the movement.

- Keep your arms straight but without locking your elbows to focus the work on your front deltoids. - Avoid swinging your torso or using momentum to elevate the bar. - Control the descent to resist the force of the pulley and work the eccentric phase.
