The lever reverse vertical hack squat fits perfectly into the core strength or hypertrophy section of your leg session. Positioned in a lever machine, this setup provides high stability, which reduces axial stress on your spine compared to free weight variations. This allows you to drive up with intense power using your quadriceps and glutes while maintaining complete control of the path. Rather than using it to warm up, introduce this exercise when your muscles are ready to perform heavy work safely using the dedicated machine platform.
1. Position yourself on the reverse hack squat machine, facing the pad with your shoulders under the shoulder rests and feet placed high on the platform. 2. Unlock the safeties and slowly lower your hips by bending your knees until your thighs are parallel to the floor. 3. Pause at the bottom of the squat. 4. Drive through your heels to extend your legs and return to the starting upright position.

- Keep your feet high on the platform to target the glutes and hamstrings. - Press through your heels to drive the weight up. - Maintain a flat back against the pad throughout the movement. - Lower yourself until your thighs are parallel to the floor.
