The Twisting Crunch arms straight is a fantastic exercise to strengthen your core using only your body weight. To build real progress with this exercise, start slowly by mastering a tight, controlled twist before trying to add speed or depth. By keeping your focus firmly on your abs and obliques, you establish a solid foundation without straining your lower back. If your posture starts to slip, simply reduce the angle of your lean and concentrate on pure torso rotation. Moving step by step ensures that every single rep reinforces good habits, allowing you to develop lasting abdominal strength, better trunk stability, and cleaner overall form over time.
1. Sit on the floor with your knees bent and feet flat. 2. Lean backward to 45° and join your hands in front of your chest. 3. Lift your legs off the floor and rotate your arms to one side with a light weight. 4. Rotate to the other side and continue alternating in a continuous motion.

- Keep your core activated during the entire movement. - The twist should come from your waist, not your shoulders. - Control the movement in both directions.
