The V-Sit on Floor is an intense core challenge where attention to detail separates real gains from wasted effort. Using strictly your body weight, it is extremely easy to fall into common mistakes like rounding your spine, collapsing the chest, or yanking with your neck just to get higher. By staying mindful of your posture and driving the movement from your midsection, you unlock a powerful contraction in your abdomen and quadriceps. Avoiding momentum and executing a controlled, smooth lowering phase keeps constant mechanical tension on the targeted muscles, preventing lower back strain and ensuring that every second spent holding that sharp V position yields maximum strength and control.
1. Sit with your legs extended and your torso slightly leaning back. 2. Simultaneously lift your legs and torso, forming a "V". 3. Hold the position for one or two seconds, activating your core. 4. Lower with control, maintaining tension throughout the entire movement.

- Balance on your glutes, not on your tailbone. - If you cannot keep your legs straight, bend them slightly. - Hold the position for as long as you can while maintaining correct form.
